How to book a ride with Get Driven

Create your ride

Open the app or desktop version and enter your departure location. Keep in mind that we work with ABA-rides: you are always brought back to your starting address.

Add stops, date and time

Select the date and start time of the ride. For the end time, you can make an estimate – we know rides sometimes finish earlier or run a little late. Want to pick up friends along the way? Just add extra stops

Choose your car

Do you have multiple cars? Then select the right one in the app. If you only have one, we’ll fill this in automatically for you.

Add preferences and notes (optional)

Customize your ride to your needs:

  • Flexible end time

  • Careful driving style

  • Confidential treatment

  • Extras in a note (e.g. refueling, car wash, or leaving the keys during an airport trip)

Extra peace of mind: additional insurance

For just €3 extra per hour, you can opt for our additional insurance. This way, you are fully covered against possible damage during the ride.

Submit your ride

Click on Find a driver. Our drivers will be notified immediately and can apply. This usually takes around 15 minutes.

Select your driver

From the available candidates, you choose your preferred driver. As soon as you’ve made your choice, the ride is confirmed.

On the day of the ride

  • The driver will be ready on time at the starting location.

  • They will take you wherever you need to go and always wait in or near the car.

  • When you’re done, just give them a call or message and the driver will pick you up at the entrance.

  • At the end of the ride, you will be safely returned to your starting address.

Finalizing and reviewing

Afterwards, you can easily close the ride in the app and leave a review for the driver. This helps us keep the quality high and guarantee top service.

Yes! Get Driven makes it simple to cancel or modify your ride directly through the app. If you cancel 12 hours or more in advance, there’s no charge. For cancellations made less than 12 hours before your scheduled ride, fees apply. Cancellations between 3 and 12 hours before incur a €30 fee, while those within 3 hours of the ride time incur a €75 fee. If the driver arrives and there is a no-show, a €250 fee is applied. We keep fees fair and transparent to give you flexibility when plans change.

Yes, Get Driven applies small additional charges for night rides and extended trips. For rides that start or end after 8 PM, there is a one-time evening surcharge of €4.99. For trips lasting over 9 hours, an overtime supplement of 20% is added starting from the 9th hour. These fees help ensure fair compensation for our drivers and transparent pricing for you.

We offer several payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. You can securely link your preferred payment method to the app, and every transaction is encrypted for your protection. We ensure that your data is kept safe, and there’s no need to carry cash!
