Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Location: Kortrijk – Employment: Full-time – Start Date: As soon as possible

GET DRIVEN is a fast-growing mobility scale-up and market leader in connecting customers with high-quality private drivers via our innovative platform. Our mission is to make mobility smarter, safer, and more accessible through technology. As we continue to expand and scale our services across Belgium and very soon beyond, we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to shape and drive the future of our platform and technology roadmap.

 

The mission

As CTO, you’ll be the driving force behind our product and technology roadmap. You’ll work with a talented in-house development team and ensure that our platform (customer & driver app, web-app & cms) is reliable, scalable, and ready for future growth. At the same time, you’ll take an active role in shaping our offering, translating market insights, user data and feedback into smart, impactful solutions.

You will be building the bridge between customer needs, operational excellence, and technology. You work closely with the leadership team to turn vision into execution, with full ownership of our platform.

 

What you'll do

  • Define and execute GET DRIVEN’s long-term technology and product strategy.
  • Develop, monitor and analyse the performance dashboards to evaluate the entire user acquisition funnel-from lead to loyal user
  • Optimise the product development roadmap accordingly—balancing user value, business needs, and scalability.
  • Lead but most of all support an ambitious tech team, coaching them towards results and quality delivery.
  • Manage quality, security, scalability, and integrations.
  • Ensure responsive and efficient application architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and marketing to deeply understand customer needs.
  • Drive data- and AI-driven improvements across both the product and internal tools.
  • Actively scout and adopt emerging tech trends in mobility, SaaS, and automation.

 

Who you are

  • A tech and product leader with 10+ years of relevant experience, including CTO, CPO or similar roles.( BSc or MSc)
  • You think strategically and execute pragmatically—balancing long-term vision with short-term speed.
  • Experience in software development (Mobile apps, APIs, dashboarding, automated testing, ...), application architecture, and agile/scrum project management. 
  • Knowledge of Jira, Flutter (dart), Symfony (PHP), and AWS
  • Proven people manager.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English.
  • Bonus: experience in marketplaces, mobility tech, or scaling SaaS platforms.
